What size generator does a commercial building need?
It depends on which loads must stay live - life safety, refrigeration, servers, production lines - versus what can wait. Our engineers run a load analysis as part of the site assessment and size the unit to your operation, not to a catalog page.
How much does a commercial standby generator cost?
Commercial projects range widely with size, fuel type, switchgear and site work. After the site assessment you get a written proposal with the full scope and price. Section 179 expensing often applies - ask your accountant.
Do you handle permits and utility coordination?
Yes - end to end. Township permits, utility coordination, gas sizing, inspections, and code compliance are all part of the scope. CPI, our parent company, provides in-house engineering and compliance consulting for the complex cases.
Can you service and maintain our existing generator?
Yes. We take over maintenance on existing commercial units, and our 24-hour on-call line covers commercial electrical emergencies across New Jersey.
How long does a commercial generator project take?
Typical projects run several weeks to a few months depending on unit lead time, utility coordination and township timelines. You get a project schedule in the proposal and a single point of contact until startup.
